EVENT / Tim Huckaby at the World-wide Consumer Electronics Show CES 2013 & 2014
As a result of Tim Huckaby's hugely successful and heavily attended presentation, "User Interface: What It Will Look Like in 5 Years", at CES 2013, The organizers of CES have asked Tim to come do another presentation at the 2014 show.
This year, Tim's session is called: “User Interface Innovation: What’s on the Horizon”. It will take place on Wednesday, January 8, 2013 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Abstract: Gesture control has moved from videogame consoles to PCs and TVs and is setting its sights on your car’s dashboard. Is 2014 the year of gesture? Will kinetics, facial recognition, eye tracking and brain control make the cut or die on the vine?
Missed Tim's presentation from last year's CES 2013?
Abstract: Will button pushing still be the primary way we operate electronics products in 2018 or will it be replaced by voice and gesture control? And will the mouse become a forgotten relic of the PC's past? Tim Huckaby leads us through predictions of where the user interface is headed.
